The CEVHAP logo was developed to establish a visual identity that represents the ethos
and purpose of the organisation:
Circle elements
signifies cooperation, coalition of
individuals working on a unified goal.
Virus symbols
the five major causes of viral hepatitis,
(A-E) are encapsulated in abstract in
this stylization of the virus: the three
that cause chronic infection B, C & D
are enveloped, whilst the two that
cause acute, self-limiting hepatitis, A &
E, are exposed.
Globe concept
represents the Asia Pacific region,
which occupies roughly, more than half
the globe. The tilt emulates the
earth's tilted axis, while maintaining
visual balance.
Bowl element
suggests containment, protection and
safekeeping, while visually reinforcing
transparency. It also indicates
movement and fluidity in development
of structures and policies.
Font
the font has a modern feel, yet
displays a subtle connection to
traditional calligraphy and hand
written text of many Asian cultures,
giving it a personal identity signifying
dedication and care.
Colours
Orange
warm and friendly, symbolizes the
sun, positive energy, generosity and
prosperity.
Teal
cool colour referring to water and air,
with a strong association with healing,
health, longevity and harmony.
